WE PRINT AWESOME T-SHIRT

SCREEN PRINTING

Method in which ink is applied directly to the surface to be printed. The image to be printed is transferred to a very fine mesh (the screen) such that the non-printing areas are blocked off and the fabric serves as a canvas. The ink is wiped across the screen to pass through the unblocked pores and reach the substrate. For each color to be printed, a separate screen is prepared and the process is repeated.

At Broadway Ink Company, we custom screen print on T-shirts, Hoodies, etc. We print for Business, Fashion Brand, Sports Team, Events, Schools, Restaurants and more. We can provide design and print you will love and share with everyone. T-shirts are used to advertise an event or your business. Why not yours? Turn your apparel into a marketing tool.

PRICE FACTORS

Type of Garment: For almost every product type we have an inexpensive, mid-range, and high end option, and there are many styles to choose from!

Number of Locations Printed: Each location requires new setup and runs for your imprint. A front print only will always be cheaper than a front and back print.

Quantity Ordered: Due to the setup involved in screen printing, the more shirts you order, the lower your price will be.

Number of Colors on Each Design: The number of colors in each location affects the run time and setup for each location. A one color print will be less expensive than a three color print. If you have a lot of colors and tones of colors in your design, a process print may be a cheaper solution.

In-Hands Date: Orders are produced on-demand for your due date. Garments needed in a few days from your order placement date will be more expensive than those needed in a few weeks.

INK OPTIONS

Water Based Ink: Water based ink uses water as its solvent. Using it will achieve a very soft print because the fabric will actually absorb it into the fibers. It's great for achieving a vintage look and feel. Be aware that it does not work well on dark garments, and it will fade a bit when washed.

Plastisol Ink: Plastisol ink is the most common used in screen printing. When applied to a garment you can feel it sitting on top of the fabric. We try our best to keep the print as soft as possible. Using plastisol ink is the best way to achieve a Pantone color match and bright, opaque colors.

Discharge Ink: Discharge ink is traditional water based ink with a bleaching additive that actually dyes the fibers of a garment to the color of the ink. The outcome is a very opaque, vibrant print with a matte finish. It makes the very softest print. This technique is only effective on cotton garments, and it can be difficult to perfectly match colors. It also has a very distinct smell, so we highly recommend washing garments printed with this ink before wearing them.
